Grandmother -Ray Young Bear

                                      


The poem “Grandmother” is written by Ray Young Bear. In this poem, he explained his love towards grandmother and also about culture.

The writer represents grandmother as their culture and the farmer. Generally, farmers are dominated by business-man and other else which means the writers cultures are dominated, and as well as buried on somewhere. The writer says, he recognized his grandmother by her purple scarf overhead, plastic shopping bag in her hand, and warm damp hands, and remarkably a voice a rock. That all reflects, he still have feelings for his culture, and he welly knows about his culture. He wants to bring back his culture, tradition and which is not possible.
Although his culture is not so wow but he still love. Therefore, he appeals for culture revival.
